Day 1, Games and international Dinner

A Trusting Game

German Group

Kennlernspiele 10.00-13.30 Uhr 

Morgens haben wir Spiele gespielt um uns besser kennen zu lernen. Dazu wurden wir in Gruppen aufgeteilt. Es gab vier Spiele. Das erste fand am Spielplatz statt, wo wir uns die Augen verbinden mussten und einen Parcours machen mussten.  Die anderen drei fanden auf dem Parkplatz und auf der Wiese statt. 

Das zweite war mit den Betreuern von Belgien. Dazu haben wir uns zuerst vorgestellt und durften eine Figur dazu machen, wie z.B. verbeugen oder klatschen. Das wurde dann gesteigert. Wir haben uns den Ball zugeworfen, während ein Betreuer in der Mitte stand und eine Bombe spielte.  Wenn die „Bombe“ hochging, musste sich derjenige hinsetzen der den Ball in der Hand hatte. 

Das dritte Spiel namens „Waterpipe“ war auf der Wiese. Dazu haben wir eine Art Rutsche mit Frischhaltefolie gemacht und irgendwie sollten wir dann das Wasser von einem Ende zum anderen befördern. Wenn wir das geschafft haben, sollten wir das ganze nochmal machen, dieses Mal von dem unteren Ende zum oberen. 

 Das vierte, und letzte Spiel haben wir mit dem französischen Betreuer gespielt. Da haben wir uns den Ball zugeworfen und die Nachbarn, von dem der den Ball gefangen hatte, mussten dann die Arme heben oder das Bein oder sollten eine Figur machen. 

Nachdem wir die Spiele gespielt hatten, hatten wir ein bisschen Freizeit, zumindest die, die nicht in der Küche kochen mussten. Für den Abend wurde ein internationales Abendessen zubereitet. Dazu gab es Spezialitäten aus jedem Land.  

In the morning, we played some games to get to know each other. We were divided into small groups in order to do so. There were four games: first of all, we got blindfolded and had to go a small route on the playground, including handling some obstacles such as stairs and the rope. 

Furthermore, we played a game with the Belgium leaders that aimed on remembering the names. In order to do so, we had to introduce ourselves combined with making a random move, such as clapping hands. The person to our left then had to repeat our name and move and add his or her name and move to that and so on, until the last person had to repeat all names and moves. Afterwards, we made a circle with one of the leaders standing in the center of it. He was the “bomb” and had to randomly say “BOOM” after a short time (about a minute or so) elapsed. During that time, we passed a ball to the person standing on the left side of us. The person who was holding the ball while the bomb “exploded” had to sit down.

Moreover, we played the game “Waterpipe” which included making a rope out of glad wrap and using it to make water flow from one bucket to another. After finishing that, we had to repeat the same thing uphill.

Last but not least, we played a game with the French leader. The rules were pretty simple, the game play however turned out to be rather difficult: We had a ball that we had to throw to a random person combined with saying her name. However, the very second in which the person caught the ball, his or her two neighbors had to raise their hand. This rule, however, was modified later in the game and the hand raising got replaced by raising the left or right foot or performing a statue-like pose.

Afterwards, some of us spent the free time to play soccer. The other part though prepared food for the “International Dinner” which included typical food from every country.

Polish Group

Nad ranem niemiecka grupa obudziła nas swoją muzyką. Była ona bardzo orzeźwiająca. Po porannej toalecie zjedliśmy śniadanie. Około godziny 10:00 rozpoczęliśmy gry i zabawy integracyjne. Bawiliśmy się świetnie. Zabawy oparte były na wspólnej współpracy, tylko dzięki której można było osiągnąć cel. Od godziny 13:30  do 15:00 miał miejsce lunch. Następnie każdy kraj miał przygotować swoje własne, narodowe danie. Była niezła zabawa. Polska ulepiła ponad 500 pierogów, Francja – naleśniki, Belgia –potrawka z kurczaka natomiast Niemcy -  precle z pastą. Potem wspólnie wdupiliśmy to wszystko. Po kolacji zrobiliśmy piramidę żywieniową. Każdy kraj zaprezentował swoją piramidę. Była już godzina 22:00 a więc poszliśmy się kąpać i udaliśmy się do łóżek.

At the morning german group woke up us with their music. The music was very refreshment . After morning toilet we ate a breakfast. Near 10 am we started games to know each other. We had a lot of fun. Games were based on common collaboration which gave us purpose.  From 1:30 pm to  3 pm we ate lunch. Than every country had to prepare his own, national meal. It was really funny. The polish group made over 500 “pierogi”, the French group made pancakes, the Belgish group  “vol-au-vent”  and the German pretzels. Than we ate prepared meal before. After the dinner we made “eating pyramid”. Every country presented his “pyramid”. It was 10 pm so we went to take a shower and sleep.

Belgish Group

Vandaag werden we gewekt door de Duitse muziek om 7 u 30. Om 8 uur namen we een stevig en gezond ontbijt om fit voor de dag te komen. 

Om elkaar beter te leren kennen, speelden we buiten talrijke spelletjes. We speelden het Belgische spelletje Boem. Het spel van Polen was een waterspelletje. De Duitsers hadden een geblinddoekt parcours gemaakt en de Fransen verrasten ons met hun origineel namenspel.

Na deze uitputtende spelletjes genoten we van een lekkere lunch die onze krachten aansterkten om weer fit de middag in te gaan. 

Na het rustuurtje was er een nieuwe opdracht. De bedoeling was dat elk land een typisch gerecht moest maken voor de anderen. Het was heel leuk om samen te koken. 

’S Avonds konden we dan genieten en proeven van gerechten die we nog niet kenden. 

Om de dag mee af te sluiten brainstormden we nog even over de gezondheidsstijl van elk land. Wat men gezond vindt en wat niet. Elk land moest vervolgens een presentatie maken die hun ideeën weergaf. 

Hiermee sloten we de mooie, tweede dag af.

Today we woke up at 7 h 30 with the German music.  At 8 o’clock we took a good breakfast to be fit. 

To get to know each other better we played a lot of games. We played the Belgian game Boem. The game from Poland was a water game. The German people had made a blindfold parcours and the French people surprised us with an original name – game. 

After the hard games we enjoyed the delicious lunch, which gives us a lot of power.

After the leisure time, there was another task. We had to cook a typical meal from or own country. We had a lot of fun when we cooked.

For dinner we could enjoy and taste the meals we didn’t know yet.

To end the day we had a brainstorm about our healthy style. The things which are healthy and which aren’t. Each country had to make a presentation with their ideas about healthy lifestyle.

With this we closed the second, beautiful day.

French Group

Le matin nous avons été réveillé par de la musique allemande. D’autre part, nous avons pu découvrir une nouvelle façon de déjeuner le matin, exemple comme manger de la charcuterie, du fromage et de boire du soda tel que du coca ou de l’orangina. La manière de manger et de préparer les plats en Allemagne est très différente qu’en France. Pour le diner chaque pays a préparé un plat typique, et après nous avons pu présenter notre plat mais aussi expliquer comment nous l’avions préparé. Tout le monde a pu découvrir de nouveau plat ce qui fut très enrichissant pour notre culture culinaire : les polonais nous présenté un plat a base d’oignons, de fromage et autres ; les allemands nous on préparé des bretzels et les belges un vole au vent qui ressemble a tout point de vue a une bouché à la reine. Pour finir nous les français avons fait un plat typique de Bretagne « des crêpes » que nous avons accompagné de chocolat fondu. Mais pour commencer la journée nous avons fait des jeux pour apprendre a ce connaitre mais aussi pour s’amuser, il y avait quatre ateliers, chacun de ces ateliers furent supervisés par chaque pays. L’atelier organisé par les animateurs belges consistait à jouer a « Tic, Tac, Boum », celui organisé par les allemands était une sorte de jeux de piste. Mais la difficulté fut que ils nous avaient enlever l’un de nos sens principal celui de la vue, l’activée faite par les polonais se nomme « aquapipe ». L’atelier français était le jeu de la taupe, qui consiste a lancer un balle en nommant le nom de chaque personne.  Pour résumé la journée a été sympathique.
